Setup – Thursday
SEC Setup Day — No Attendee Programming
Thursday is dedicated to setting up the Social Engineering Village and Labs. There will not be any scheduled talks, competitions, or attendee activities in the Village during this time.
DEF CON will be open for badge pickup, so use the quieter pre-con day to:
- Pick up your DEF CON badge before the main crowds arrive.
- Learn the venue layout and find the Village.
- Meet up and socialize with friends, teammates, and fellow attendees.
- Grab food, supplies, and anything else you will need for the weekend.
- Review the conference schedule and build your game plan.
- Get some rest. The weekend gets busy quickly.
The Social Engineering Village officially opens to attendees on Friday. See you then!
